Barakami Damacy

Lately, we've become completely obsessed with the PS2 game Katamari Damacy. This ridiculous game has become a huge time suck as we continually try to curry the favor of the hard-to-please King of all Cosmos (and his obscene codpiece) by rolling up everything in sight with our sticky magic balls (which sounds a lot dirtier than it is). We also find ourselves humming the ridiculous songs of its soundtrack. It was the theme for the first stage, in fact, that inspired this week's politically themed comic. Love him or hate him, you have to admit that both the Prince (of all Cosmos) and Barak Obama are about the same level of cuteness -- and both face a daunting challenge.

Go Obama do your best! NANANANANANANA!

Vote next Tuesday, because the electoral college depends on you... or they don't. We're not sure. Personally, the idea of rolling up objects, animals and people with a magic, sticky ball to recreate the stars that some drunken, A-type jerk with a butt-chin knocked out of the sky one night makes more sense to us than the electoral college.

Anyway, you should get out there and vote, regardless... Unless you're voting for McCain|Palin, in which case you should stay home. No, seriously, though, go vote. Because we believe that everyone should have their voice heard, even if they disagree with us. Because we believe strongly enough in Obama to believe that he can win even against real competition. And because we believe that if you're seriously planning on voting for McCain|Palin, you're probably going to end up stuck in traffic in your two-miles-to-the-gallon Hummer, picking your nose while fantasizing about "having a beer" with "that hot Republican chick", and will never actually make it to the voting booth. Mostly that last one. Because we BELIEVE IN STEREOTYPES. Amen!

How come Japan comes up with such awesome ways to destroy cities? First Godzilla, now this. It would be sweet to see one of this balls rolling into San Francisco from the south bay.
